NASA: Agency Announces Development of Telescope With View 100 Times Larger Than Hubble's
NASA's Agency Program Management Council said Wednesday it decided to move forward with the Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope. The telescope's slated launch date is in the mid-2020s.
