Sahitya Akademi: Literature Organization Says 10 Writers Have Agreed to Take Back Their Awards
Nayantara Sahgal and Nand Bhardwaj are among the writers Sahitya Akademi said were taking back their awards Friday. About 40 writers returned them in October citing India's “growing intolerance."
