Nobel Prize in Literature: Belarusian Author Svetlana Alexievich Wins Prize
The Swedish Academy said Thursday she won "for her polyphonic writings, a monument to suffering and courage in our time." Her works include "Voices from Chernobyl" and "War’s Unwomanly Face."
